Police Investigating Shooting that Occurred Thursday Morning
Watsonville Police think shooting may be gang related.
A Watsonville resident was shot at in a possible gang-related shooting that occurred early Thursday morning.
On Thursday afternoon, officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Rodriguez Street to follow the report of a shooting that occurred around 3 a.m., according to the Watsonville Police Department.
They found that one resident was shot at, but that no one had been injured. There were numerous people inside the residence at the time of the incident.
The WPD think the incident may be gang-related, and are currently investigating.
