Police Searching For Suspect in Hit-and-Run Case

A suspect intentionally struck a man with his car Sat. night at Rodriguez and West Front Streets.

Police in Watsonville are seeking help in tracking down a suspect that intentionally struck a man with his car Saturday night, according to police.

Officers responded to a report of a hit and run at Rodriguez and West Front Streets at about 10:30 p.m., police said.When police arrived, they found an injured man lying on the ground
in an alley, according to police.

The man, as well as witnesses, told police that a male driver of a white minivan intentionally hit him before fleeing east on West Front Street, police said.

The victim was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life threatening, police said.

Police are investigating the crime.
