Watsonville Police Log, Tuesday, Sept. 11

11:26 a.m.—A vandal smashed a car window on the 1900 block of Pajaro Lane overnight.

11:57 a.m.—Two parked cars were vandalized on the 100 block of Hangar Way overnight.

1 p.m.—A teenager was cited for a probation violation on the 100 block of Jefferson Street.

2:04 p.m.—A man was arrested for having an illegal switchblade knife on the 200 block of Center Street.

8:34 p.m.—A man stopped for a vehicle code violation and was arrested for a warrant on the 100 block of Madison Street.

8:56 p.m.—A 31-year-old man was arrested having heroin, drug paraphernalia, two warrants and a probation violation on Kearney and Ford streets.

Monday, Sept. 10

8:40 a.m.—A 26-year-old man was arrested for having a methamphetamine pipe on the 100 block of Blanca Lane.

12:10 p.m.—A car thief broke into a parked, locked vehicle on the 1400 block of Main Street and drove it away. It happened in a two-hour span Monday morning.

4:05 p.m.—A 37-year-old man rented $2,062 worth of furniture and electronics in July, then failed to either make payments or return the merchandise. He also left the Watsonville area. Police are getting a warrant.

6:54 p.m.—A 33-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting from Kmart.
