Sheriff's Reports: Mausoleum Vandalized
This month, there's been several burglaries and a gang attack where a man got hit in the face with a bottle.
A mausoleum at St. Francis Cemetery was vandalized earlier this month, according to the Sheriff's Office.
Someone apparently threw a baseball through a stained glass window of the mausoleum, sheriff's deputy April Skalland reported. The window, with a picture of Joseph, Mary and Baby Jesus, was shattered, as was the glass front door on the opposite end of the 10-by-10-foot crypt.
The widow of the man entombed in the mausoleum discovered the damage, Skalland said.
