Storage Unit Fire Damages Motor Home

A fire early Thursday inside an Industrial Road building threatened motor homes and boats stored in the facility, but Watsonville firefighters managed to control the flames before many items were damaged, local media reported.

The blaze, reported around 5:40 a.m., threatened motor homes, four boats and other items, according to the Santa Cruz Sentinel.

Only one motorhome sustained major damage. It also was the source of the fire, according to a report in the Register Pajaronian. Firefighters traced ignition point back to a Dynasty Monaco class A motorhome.

No injuries were reported.
