Two Men with Gun Rob Rodriguez Street Apartment

One of the victims suffered minor head wounds; police are still looking for suspects.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, robbed an unlocked Watsonville apartment Saturday at 5:20 p.m. on the 500 block of Rodriguez Street.

One of the victums suffered a minor wound to the head during the incident, although it is unclear whether it was from a shooting or blood trauma, Watsonville master officer Jess Ojeda said.

The victims --which included two men, 37 and 40, and a woman, 50 -- told police that the thieves walked into their apartments, demanded money and asked where their computers were. 

They stole a cell phones and a bus pass, among other items, and fled.

Both suspects were Hispanic and in their late teens or early 20s, according to Ojeda. One was about six feet tall and wore a red shirt and black pants, while the other was just described as being tall.

Police are asking anyone with more information to call the investigations line at 768-3352 or the anonymous tip line at 768-3544.
