Video: Watsonville Police Activities League Highlights

Check out some of the best recent moments from the Watsonville PAL.

Frankly, there's a lot of bad news that comes out of Watsonville. Too often we have to report about dead teenagers, fatal accidents and government shortcomings.

And the conduct of users on Watsonville Patch is far from ideal. But that's an issue for a different article.

It's great to be able to highlight something positive in the community, in this case the Watsonville Police Activities League, a youth crime prevention program that uses sports, educational, and other recreational activities to form a bond among police, community leaders, kids and their parents.

The Watsonville PAL put together the slideshow above and posted it on its website. We're sharing it here to spread a few good vibes around the community.

It's not all about stabbings and racism folks.

Gee Whizz HizDesign, you have been saying you know everyones 'real' names here for sometime but you never seem to share. Could it be that your are just full of it and you are trying to boost your sense of self importance? Plus you hide behind a false name your self. Kind of odd, no? Perhaps your just a liar?

You have posted over and over that that you know the real names of people who post here and you are going to 'bust' them by exposing their identities. I have also noted that you have deleted several of your posts...hummmm

Hizie, you are stating that you know my name better than I do? Wow, you just know everything don't ya?
Let's settle this once and for all, please! February 03, 2013 at 05:39 AM
Well you have. She printed them out and put them on the fridge of her house. But you did kind of burn her and her family, mostly the family I guess. Myself I would just have dropped it to you being a flake but sometimes hurts don't heal.
