Violent Mob Stabs Boy, 15, over Gang Affiliation

A teenager was stabbed multiple times and beaten over the head with a skateboard in Watsonville on Wednesday.

A group of five to seven men brutally attacked a 15-year-old boy in Watsonville Wednesday afternoon.

Police were dispatched to a home on the 200 block of Bockius Street at 3:45 p.m. where the boy was awaiting medical assistance.

He was flown to a Bay Area trauma center with several stab wounds to his upper body, Watsonville Police said.

An investigation revealed that the boy had been walking on Carr Street at East Lake Avenue when he was approached by the group. They asked him his gang affiliation and before he could respond, they stabbed him, took his skateboard and beat him over the head with it, police said.

The mob then took off on foot with the skateboard. Police were unable to locate the suspects, all of whom are thought to be between 18 and 20-years-old.
