Watsonville Police Arrest Juvenile Robbery Suspect Who Beat Man with Bat

Watsonville police officers were called after a man was beaten and robbed on the 800 block of Water Street, Friday at 10 a.m.

The attacker was said to be driving a gold Honda, but wasn't found. Corporal David Roriguez tracked down the name of the suspect and found him the next morning, along with the weapon and the victim's property.

The juvenile was taken to Juvenile Hall and booked on charges of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon. 

The names of juvenile suspects are protected by law.
