Watsonville Police Blotter: Police Arrest Man Hiding in Cemetery

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday

11:09 p.m. -- Police contacted a man hiding in a cemetery on the 1400 block of Freedom Boulevard. He was identified as Juan Parales Madrigal, 35, who had a warrant out for his arrest and was in possession of property that didn’t belong to him.

12:08 a.m. – Melissa Hernandez, 31, was contacted after a traffic stop and arrested for driving on a suspended license.

Wednesday

10:04 p.m. Police arrested Jermiah Arron De Augustine, 31, for driving under the influence of alcohol, possession of narcotics and probation violation on the 400 block of Rodriguez Street.

6 p.m. An unknown suspect used an unknown object to cause damage to the exterior paint of a resident’s parked and locked vehicle on the 100 block of Ford Street. 

8:48 a.m. For the fifth time, an unknown suspect tampered with the dead bolt of a business at the 400 block of Union Street. There are no leads available.
