Police Blotter: Student Steals From Teacher

The following arrest information was supplied by the Watsonville Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

From Wednesday, Feb. 6:

10:47 a.m. A teacher reported that one of the students at the Academic Vocational Charter Institute on the 100 block of Diamond Drive stole $200 from her purse while at the school. The juvenile was questioned by police, and returned the money the next day. The teacher would like to file charges against the student.

9:22 a.m. Roman Martinez was arrested for three outstanding confirmed warrants, probation violation and resisting arrest on the 900 block of Lincoln Street. He was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail.

8:34 a.m. Two juveniles were arrested at Watsonville High, one for theft of a cell phone, the other for possession of marijuana on a school campus. Both were cited and released to their parents.
