Watsonville Police Issue 5 Citations, 1 Arrest During Shoulder Tap Operation

Four adults were cited by Watsonville cops and released for buying alcohol for minor decoys, police said.

Watsonville police made five citations and one arrest during a shoulder tap operation on Friday.

Four adults were cited and released for buying alcohol for minor decoys, police said.

Another adult was cited and released for possessing metal knuckles, according to police.

Officers arrested one adult for driving under the influence of alcohol and booked into Santa Cruz County Jail, police said.

The operation was funded through a grant to the Watsonville Police Department from the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
