Woman Arrested For Rural Watsonville Break-In

A stolen gun, as well as electronics, jewelry and coins.

A woman suspected of burglarizing homes in rural Watsonville and Aptos was arrested Monday afternoon, the Sheriff's Office reported.

Jennifer Moncovich was contacted around 4:20 p.m. in regard to the break-in at a home on East Bel Mar Road, which is south of Larkin Valley Road off Highway 1, according to deputy Ryan Kennedy.

Detectives linked Moncovich to other break-ins in the area through suspected stolen goods they found, Kennedy said. Among the stolen items were a gun, electronics, jewelry and coins.

Moncovich was arrested on suspicion of burglary and other charges, and is being held on $100,000 bail. She is due in court Wednesday morning.
