I have always been involved in my children’s education, and early on I realized that I could be a voice for parents. I became active: Vice President of the District English Language Advisory Committee, Site Council President, and English Learner Advisory Committee.
I have pushed for better educational programs for all children and improved safety measures at schools, and I am not done. Our students are the future of this community, and they deserve to be well represented on the school board, by a parent with children in PVUSD schools who sees the impact of the decisions being made due to the state budget crisis.
