Here's What's Coming At Tuesday's City Council Meeting

Rabies laws, road construction, the river levee and redistricting are all on the agenda.

Watsonville City Council meets Tuesday night. Here's what you can expect:

  • Councilors likely will approve nearly $1.3 million in road repairs throughout the city. Check out this list to see if the potholes on your street are marked to be filled.
  • County staff will make a presentation about the Pajaro River Levee project, though no action will be taken.
  • The proposal to is back on the docket. The council held off on ruling on the matter last month in the hopes that dog owners and vets would weigh in.
  • And the much-debated will be before the council for a vote. A citizen subcommittee approved a new map at the end of August.

The council meets at 4:30 p.m., then again at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers on the fourth floor of the Civic Plaza in downtown Watsonville.
