Latest Redistricting Map Released

The committee meets again Wednesday to discuss the options for Watsonville City Council seats.

The latest version of possible Watsonville City Council districts was released Wednesday night and will be before the Community Redistricting Advisory Committee on Wednesday for consideration.

to accommodate population changes within Watsonville while keeping incumbent elected officials—namely Mayor Daniel Dodge and Councilman Oscar Rios—in their home districts.

The committee has met since April 19 on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. to get community input and consider proposed redistricting plans.
