New Water Line on Lakeview Rd.
A new water line on Lakeview Road is being installed by the City's Field Services Division. The project will be completed by the end of March.
The project is taking place on Lakeview Road from Meridith Way to Parkwood Drive so expect some possible traffic delays.
When will the project be completed?
The project which began on February 26th should be completed by March 25th.

- installation - one thousand one hundred foot (1,100') of new 8" ductile iron water main
- new residential services
- new hydrants and system isolation valves

The current Lakeview water main is over 50 years old and historically has had some major mainline breaks flooding out some of the adjacent residents. This new water main will secure our water system in this area by reducing system disruptions, improve water quality, and increase system reliability.
Who is doing the work?
The City's Field Services Division will be fulfilling all construction of this project. The photos show the trenching for the new water main, and the installation of the 8" water main (it is wrapped in plastic sheeting to protect against corrosion due to soil conditions).
