Come Learn About What is Happening with the River & Creek Levees

Over the past several decades, the Pajaro River has severely flooded a number of times.Significant flooding occurred in December 1955, April 1958, February 1986, March 1995, January 1997, February 1998. The two most significant floods with dire consequences occurred in 1955 and 1995. In March 1995, flooding caused one death and over $95 million dollars of total economic loss, including $67 million in damage to agricultural fields and $28 million in non-agricultural damage to the Town of Pajaro. 

We invite you to come and learn about what is happening with the river & creek levees. This is your opportunity to express your concerns and ideas for better flood protection in our community.
