Earth Day/Day of the Child 2014

Families are invited to Ramsay Park on Sunday, April 27th, 2014, from Noon to 4:00 P.M. to join the celebration of Earth Day and Day of the Child. Over 35 organizations will have booths offering games, prizes and information on environmental, health and educational issues.

This year’s participating organizations include the Santa Cruz County Animal Services, Monterey Bay Aquarium WATCH Program, Girl Scouts of Ca Central Coast, Department of Pesticide Regulations, Second Harvest Food Bank and many others for this free, fun family event.  Last year, we had over 3000 people in attendance.

This event, sponsored by the City of Watsonville Public Works and Utilities and Parks and Community Services Departments, will also include arts and crafts, itty bitty activities and bounce houses. Food for purchase will be available from Tamal Factory.
