Final Layer of the 2013 Road Repair Project to Begin October 7th!

Thank you for your patience during this very important project!

The third and final layer of the road repair process will begin on October 7th and completed by October 14th. If your street is on the schedule, it will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can download the schedule of streets below:

You must keep off the street!

Your street will receive SLURRY SEAL. Slurry seal is a liquid oil and crushed aggregate that will require 3 to 4 hours to dry and be ready for traffic. If you wish to use your car, we recommend that it be parked on a street not scheduled to be sealed.

All cars parked within the posted area after 8:00 a.m. on the day of work shall be towed away at the owner’s expense.

The oil will stain your car, carpets and floors. Stay off sealed pavement until barriers are removed. Once the oil is placed, you will not be able to leave your driveway until the slurry is dried and the barriers are removed.

Please do not wash cars or wter prior to work. Any water sitting in roadway will delay work.

Emergency vehicles will have access to all streets at all times. Garbage and recycling will be collected as usual.

This is the third and final layer of three layers to be applied to your street. In the coming weeks, after this third layer is cured, striping will be replaced.
