Common Core, Science and Water Education Workshop
Teaching to the common core and science standards can be achieved with the California Environmental Education Initiative Curriculum (EEI) and the Project WET (Water Education for Teachers) Curriculum and Activity Guide. Come learn by doing at this engaging teacher workshop at the County Office of Education.
Project WET: K-12th grade, Interdisciplinary, activity guide that specializes in hands-on lessons about water. Revised in 2011 in full color, onlineactivities and aligned to Common Cores standards. www.projectwet.org
California EEI: California State Board of Education approved K-12th grade curriculum uses environmental topics to meet current CA History-Social Science standards. All units also include new correlations to CCSS for Language ARts www.CaliforniaEEI.org
