Cabrillo Graduates Largest Class in Four Years

Degrees will be conferred at Friday evening's ceremony in Aptos.

Nearly 1,000 students will earn degrees and certificates at the Cabrillo College commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday.

The 965 graduates compose the largest class the school has had in four years.

Cabrillo was founded in 1959 and has campuses in Aptos, and Scotts Valley. The college offers more than 100 academic and career technical education programs that serve multiple educational goals such as Associates of Arts and Associates of Sciences degrees, certificates of achievement, skills certificates, transfers to four-year institutions or for lifelong learning and personal enrichment.

Friday's ceremony will be at the Carl Connelly Stadium, Cabrillo College, 6500 Soquel Dr. in Aptos. If it rains, the festivities will be moved to the Cabrillo College gymnasium.

There will be a reception in the school pavilion following graduation.
