Monterey Bay Rose Society Rose Garden Care Clinic/Demonstration

Ever wonder how to take care of your roses are the first blooms are gone?  Want to maximize your plants' potential? If you came to our pruning clinics, now is your chance to see the rose garden with blooms and leaves!

The Monterey Bay Rose Society Rose Care Demonstration will be Saturday, June 2, 2012 from 10:00 am to 1:00pm  at the Monterey Bay Rose Society’s Display Garden at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. Take the HorseShow entrance just passed the Fair’s Main entrance of 2601 East Lake Avenue, Watsonville, CA 95076.

The Garden’s first round of blooms are spent and we will be conducting a hands-on event of deadheading, evaluating the plants and checking for diseases and pests.  We will also discuss fertilizers and watering needs.  Bring your gloves, by-pass pruners and hat and come join us in the garden.  For more information contact Janey’ 831-722-7958 or email sweeete940@gmail.com

The Fairgrounds will be abuzz that day as the Ag History Project will be in full swing with ‘Day on the Farm’ and the Watsonville Road Angels Car Show.  You can also purchase lunch at the Santa Cruz County Fair Heritage Foundation booth.

Admission and parking are free.
