There will be a WIC Breastfeeding Program at Salud Para La Gente's downtown clinic. The educational program will be 2-3 p.m. once a month, April through June.
Salud Para La Gente, based in Watsonville, in Santa Cruz County, California, is a Federally Qualified Health Center. SPLG was founded in 1978 as a storefront free clinic; today, it is a leader in providing health care for the neediest patients in the Pajaro Valley, in Santa Cruz County, along with areas of adjoining counties. SPLG's 20 sites offer high quality full-service primary health care to the most medically vulnerable individuals in the area.
In addition to Salud's providing clinical services, its Community Outreach Department works to remove barriers to care which may impede patients from maximizing their full health potential.
