Free Transitional Kindergarten Registration Starts in Watsonville

Transitional kindergarten is a year that bridges the gap between preschool and kindergarten.

If your child turns 5-years-old on or before Oct. 1, 2013, you can sign them up for free transitional kindergarten provided by the Pajaro Valey Union School District.

Transitional kindergarten is a relatively new school year meant to bridge the gap between preschool and kindergarten. 

To make an appointment to register your child, call your local elementary school. Registration is lasting through April and May. More information on registration can be found at www.pvusd.net.

The school district recommends bringing the following when you register: your child, their birth certificate, their immunization card, proof of residence and a recent physical exam.
