In Or Out? School Trustee's Future To Be Decided

It may feel like Election Night all over again when Trustee Karen Osmundson gets to the Pajaro Valley Unified School District board meeting Wednesday evening.
A demographer inadvertantly unearthed data showing that , meaning she is ineligible to sit on the school board.
After much discussion—and conflicting reports—two weeks ago, the school board is expected to come to a decision on Osmundson's future at this week's meeting. If she is outside of the district, Osmundson must either move back in-district and be reappointed to the District 3 seat or fight to change the district boundaries, a process that could take a year.
