Mentor A High School Student for a Morning
Have a cool career? Help with Watsonville Rotary's job shadow day.
Kids have big dreams and, at the end of the month, dozens of students will get the opportunity to job shadow with local business people who are working in careers the students are interested in.
Eighty-two students will be paired with members to learn about working in a variety of jobs: at Driscolls, for the city, as a dentist and more.
But there are still students who haven't found their mentors. The commitment is for the morning of March 28, a Wednesday. Murry Schekman, the assistant superintendent for secondary education at the Pajaro Valley Unified School District, is looking for volunteers in the Watsonville area.
