Photos: Watsonville High School Homecoming Parade

Students from Watsonville High School marched through the streets of downtown for the 2012 homecoming parade.

Hundreds of students from Watsonville High School yelled and cheered through the streets of downtown in a parade that capped off a week long schedule of school spirited homecoming events.

Some of the young Wildcatz dressed up as engineers with bright green hardhats and vests, girls in poodle skirts ready for a sock hop, and the lacrosse team who decided to go shirtless on their float.

All of the excitement was leading to Friday night's homecoming game against Fresno Christian. The Wildcatz were victorious, 36-7, in a bizare game that involved the visiting team leaving at halftime due to the lack of healthy players on the Eagles sideline, according to Ryan Silapan of the Santa Cruz Sentinel.
