Join family, friends, neighbors, and our habitat restoration team for a fun morning restoring wetlands habitat. We’ll be planting native plants, collecting seeds, and removing invasive weeds. Learn about the wetlands from local experts, enjoy the beauty of the sloughs, watch the birds, and observe the wildlife. Earn community service credit for your school.
Bring: Please bring water, layered work clothes, sturdy shoes, and a sun hat. We provide tools, gloves, and a snack. No experience necessary, just a desire to learn about and protect our unique and precious freshwater wetland.
