Be Sweet, Volunteer at the Strawberry Festival

Help deliver ice cream, oversee the strawberry eating contest and more at this weekend's Watsonville Strawberry Festival.

Calling all berry nice people. Err, very nice people. The city is looking for volunteers for this weekend's 18th annual .

Help is needed setting up and taking down decorations, cleaning up, manning the information booth, facilitating the strawberry eating contest, assisting at the soda and water booth, delivering ice and strawberries to booths and being the Strawberry Princess.

It's a great opportunity for high school students to have some of their graduation volunteer hour requirements taken care of before the school year.
