Linscott Charter School utilizes both traditional educational models and newer research that shows value in experiential learning. Originally founded as a parent cooperative magnet elementary school in the 1980s, Linscott became a charter school in 1994 and now serves more than 200 students in grades kindergarten to eight. The school focuses on community and encourages parental involvement.
