Established in 1940, the Pajaro Valley Historical Association preserves the treasures of Watsonville's past and the history of the region. The association operates out of the historic Bockius-Orr House, which is on the registry of National Historic Places. The group maintains a collection of historic photos, documents, items and buildings. It also puts on several events, including tours and exhibits, and sponsors a scholarship.
