The gallery -- Watsonville's only gallery -- features rotating shows of contemporary visual art of local and regional artists that last from four to eight weeks. It also offers eductional tours for school groups. There is also an annual sculpture garden show held at the Sierra Azul Nursery and Garden sponsored by the Pajaro Valley Arts Council.
Pajaro Valley Arts Council and Gallery (PVAC) has been fullfilling its mission of "bringing the community…More together through the arts" since 1983. The gallery, located in a quaint yellow Victorian on the edge of downtown Watsonville, highlights the cultural diversity, rich history and local beauty unique to the central coast. PVAC works with local schools to bring arts awareness and appreciation to students and the community. The council encourages public participation in the arts and offers chances for local artists and student artists to exhibit work.
Pajaro Valley Arts Council and Gallery welcomes the public to come and enjoy the rotating art exhibits during regular viewing hours. Private tours can be arranged for classrooms.
Admission is free but donations are accepted.
