Community Update

The movie Boyhood Shadows features the lives of six men across the United States, all of whom were molested as boys.  Santa Cruz native Kim Allyn is will be interviewed Tuesday morning 6/25 on KSCO Good Morning Monterey Bay regarding his experience as a survivor of molestation, his recovery and appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show.  The movie will be shown on KQED on 6/26.  The movie will be shown in 50 states on 150 TV stations.  Locally the Survivors Healing Center is pivotal in the recovery process.  Please tune in to KSCO AM 1080 at 7:15 Tuesday 6/25.  Kim Allyn and Teri De Bono, the filmmaker will discuss this groundbreaking movie dealing with male molestation for the first time.  Not only had this been a valuable tool for males to heal but females as well.
