Police Blotter: Teens Chase Down Duo, Try To Fight

Friday, Aug. 30
Drugs: A man was arrested for possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on Freedom Boulevard at Green Valley Road.
Thursday, Aug. 29
Threats: Three teenagers were arrested after they reportedly chased down two others and tried to fight them. One may have flashed a gun during the melee. It happened on the 100 block of Kearney Street in the afternoon.
Wednesday, Aug. 28
Robbery: A group confronted a man on the 200 block of East Beach Street around 11:50 p.m. and forced him to give up his wallet.
Drugs: A man was arrested for having drug paraphernalia on Walker and West Front streets. He was also wanted for a felony crime.
Tuesday, Aug. 27
Burglary: A storage shed at Watsonville High School was broken into and $5,800 worth of equipment for the baseball team was stolen.
Theft: A purse was taken from an unlocked car on the 100 block of William Avenue.
Trespassing: A man was ticketed for returning to the Wall Street Inn after being told to leave.
Monday, Aug. 26
Theft: Two women distracted a clerk at the Discount Mall while a third stole two skate decks and a package of wheels.
Drugs: A woman contacted during a theft investigation was caught with methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia in her hotel room on Airport Boulevard.
Carjacking: A man who called himself "Augustine" confronted a man in front of La Princesa Market, forced him to drive to Evelyn Avenue, threatened to kill the driver and stole $50 from him. It happened around 9 p.m.
