Restaurant Robbed, Newspaper Reports
The heist happened Tuesday afternoon at La Fogata 2 on East Lake Avenue.
A brazen armed robber walked right past customers and employees to steal money directly from a cash register Tuesday afternoon, according to a report in the Register Pajaronian newspaper.
The heist happened at La Fogata 2 restaurant at 710 East Lake Ave. At one point, the robber flashed a handgun that was tucked into his or her waistband, the newspaper reported.
No one was hurt. No arrests have been made and few details, including the sex of the robber, was immediately available.
