Watsonville Jewelry Store Robbed at Gunpoint
Four suspects fled the scene in a black sports car.
Around 5:24 p.m. on Friday, Watsonville Police responded to a silent robbery alarm at Ideal Jewelry on the 1400 block of Freedom Boulevard.
Two female suspects entered the store and posed as shoppers, conversing with an employee, according to Watsonville Police. A few minutes later, a male suspect with a black mask and hooded sweatshirt entered the store and ordered the employees to get on the floor at gunpoint. One of the female suspects then jumped over one of the jewelry counters and began removing jewlery from the displays while the second female suspect placed the stolen jewelry in a bag.
All three suspects exited the store together, and got into a vehicle driven by a fourth unknown suspect. The vehicle, described as a black, four oor sports car, fled southbound on Freedom Boulevard.

Officers searched the area for the suspect vehicle but did not locate it. The suspects were in their 20's and 40's.
